Players in Oxfordshire will get the chance to battle it out in the World Open Singles Championship at the Charlbury Beer Festival on Saturday, July 9.
Forty-eight local league players will be invited to enter the tournament to produce six finalists.
At the same time, 48 festival visitors will battle it out to produce two other finalists.
The eight finalists will then chase the first prize of £100.

THE Banbury Indoor League’s Help For Heroes charity night saw Jackel beat Trojan 2-1 in the final with the teams sporting names from the armed forces.
The night raised £185 for Help For Heroes.
