Witney United will take a break from their Premier Division relegation battle when they travel to Division 1 West basement boys Launton Sports in the second round of the Supplementary Cup on Saturday.

They will have to make do without Carl Evans and Vinny Byfield, who are both unavailable, while Nick Weekes (knee) is also out.

Craig Mays, Nick Jones and Ollie Lynch are all cup-tied.

Striker Danny Keen faces a late fitness on a groin injury ahead of Wantage Town’s trip to Division 1 East side South Kilburn in the Bluefin Insurance Brokers Cup third round.

In Division 1 West, promotion-chasing Clanfield make the trip to Cheltenham Saracens.

Kevin Lewis and Steve Olphert are both attending weddings, while skipper Danny Dixon is on a tour of duty and could miss the rest of the season.

Karl Dickinson returns, as does Alex Bush, who is home from university this weekend.

Clanfield boss Pete Osborne said: “Saracens always put out a competitive team. They beat us 4-1 at our place earlier in the season, and they will be in the mix at the end, and we hope that we can be too.”
