Charlton United upset the odds as the Division 1 club reached the Oxfordshire Senior League's President’s Cup semi-finals with shock 1-0 win at Premier Division Kennington.

The visitors took the lead on ten minutes when Chris Hancock shot home from the edge of the penalty area.

Simon Joyce had the chance to equalise a minute from time, but fired wide.

Luke Bremner bagged a brace as Hinksey strolled to a 5-1 win at Horspath.

He smashed in the opener, before doubling his tally after Horspath keeper Gavin Busby dropped the ball.

Julian McCalmon made it 3-0, before Jerome McCalmon slotted Hinksey’s fourth with a twice-taken penalty.

Jamel Thomas made it 5-0 with a cool finish.

Paul Flack clawed one back for Horspath late on.

Matthew Spooner netted a hat-trick as Oxford University Press reached the quarter-finals of the Ben Turner Cup, with a 5-3 extra-time win against Mansfield Road.

Spooner opened his account from a corner, only for Cameron Knight to level with a stunning 25-yard strike.

Although James Gray restored OUP’s lead, Hugo Scott levelled.

With no further goals scored, the game went into extra-time, with Mansfield Road substitute Mike Cave prodding his side in front.

Spooner levelled, before he completed his hat-trick to give OUP a 4-3 lead. Gray then sealed it with his second.

In league action, Bletchingdon hit back to draw 4-4 at Adderbury Park in the Premier Division.

Neil Skidmore’s corner deflected off a defender to give Adderbury the lead, only for Todd Parker-Hunt and Richard Wells to give the visitors a 2-1 advantage.

Gary Crook equalised, before a Mark Essex brace saw Adderbury lead 4-2.

However, a double from Andrew White earned Bletchingdon a point.

A Neil Crosby double helped Eynsham get back to winning ways with a 2-1 success against Enstone.

Steve Wren and Dan Toma notched doubles as Oakley United beat Northway 6-2 in Division 1.

Luke Tisdale and Jo Barrett were their other marksmen, with Jake Carter and Anthony Simpson replying.

Gary Wiggins bagged a brace for Bletchingdon Res as they thrashed Broughton & North Newington Res 7-1 in Division 2.

Aron Howlett, Warren Jones, Stuart Wells, Danny Evans and Charlie Appleton completed the rout. Duncan Beedon replied.

Ross Lewington hit a last-minute equaliser as Eynsham Res drew 2-2 at Yarnton Res.

Diego Rocha and Duncan Lowen gave Yarnton a 2-0 lead, before Tom Hall and Lewington levelled.
