More than 100 youngsters received expert coaching from Great Britain Olympians Richard Alexander and James Tindall at Oxford’s Dragon School.
Seventy-five junior players, aged from seven to 17, were taken through a variety of skills and demonstrations on each day of the two-day course.
Coaching at the Living Hockey camp was organised in partnership with Oxfordshire Hockey.
Alexander and Tindall were joined by Great Britain squad member and Oxford graduate Dan Fox, Scotland internationals Chris Grassick and Calum Milne and former Spain Under 21 captain Jaime Gonzalez-Laguillo.
Head coach and former Australian international Todd Williams, who is also the head of hockey at Oxford’s Magdalen College School, was delighted with the turnout.
“We are thrilled to have seen so many young players come along and we really appreciate the support from both Oxfordshire Hockey and the Dragon School,” he said. “We hope that these camps will be a regular feature on the Oxfordshire hockey calendar.”
