Oxford City Stars will be without Damian Matla and Wayne Fiddes for their weekend double-header as they continue their quest for a place in the English National League South Division 1 play-offs.
They visit Milton Keynes Thunder tonight (7pm), before facing Streatham Redskins at Oxford Ice Rink tomorrow (6.15pm).
Head coach Ken Forshee has introduced a new pattern of play, which he hopes will see Stars repeat their victory at Stretham last Sunday when Stars ran out 6-3 winners.
He will also be looking for Stars to reverse their recent results against Milton Keynes.
Oxford won the sides’ first encounter, but have since lost twice to the Buckinghamshire outfit.
Thunder feature a number of players who have previously laced up the skates for the Stars and others that have played at a higher level.
They did not have a good start to the season and have since been playing catch-up, but will be in confident mood after winning their last two games.
