Abba Athletic’s hopes of closing the gap at the top of Division 2 of the Banbury District & Lord Jersey FA as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Swis FC.
The third-placed side are now seven points behind leaders Priors United, though they have three games in hand.
After a goalless first half, Matty Jones gave Abba the lead, but they failed to put away their numerous chances.
And they were made to pay when Amir Hussein levelled.
Heyford Athletic won 4-2 at Banbury Town in Division 3.
Jamie Loveridge cancelled out Adam Horsburgh’s opener for Heyford, with Joe Haynes restoring their lead. Arron Sinsanga then equalised.
After the break, substitute Stuart Haynes put Heyford ahead again, before Phil Hickman sealed victory with a superb scissor-kick.
