Broughton & North Newington Res beat Enstone Res 4-3 in extra-time to reach the second round of the Oxfordshire Senior League's Ivor Gubbins Cup after it ended 3-3 after 90 minutes.

Andy Robey gave Broughton the lead with a 30-yard screamer, before Chris Mullard stabbed home the equaliser.

Robey doubled his tally from 20 yards to restore Broughton’s advantage, before Wayne Barton’s shot was deflected into his own net by Enstone’s Dan Tibble to give the hosts a 3-1 lead.

After the break, Mark Clements reduced the deficit, before Richard Ghagon equalised from the spot in the dying seconds to force extra time after a foul by Broughton keeper on Matt Brock.

Two minutes from the end of extra-time, Jimmy Phillips scrambled home the winner for Broughton.
