United are set to field a strong side with Ben Purkiss, Steve Kinniburgh, Josh Payne and Jack Midson all likely to feature.

North Leigh boss Mark Gee said: “Matty, Aaron Posey, Tom Franklin and Josh Dutton-Black were all scholars at Oxford, so everyone will want to put things right.”

Banbury United ended a poor run of form with a 1-1 draw at Cambridge City in the Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division last night.

After Cambridge had struck the woodwork, Delroy Gordon’s header went in off home defender James Crause to put Banbury ahead, but the home side equalised via David Kolodynski’s penalty before the break.

Banbury keeper Joe Murrell made one superb second-half save, while Adam Leroy saw a header cleared off the home line.

Oxford City went down 3-1 at Bashley, Andy Ballard scoring a consolation goal in the 88th minute.

Luke Whitley put Bashley 2-0 up at half-time with goals after 11 and 28 minutes, Mark Gamble adding a third two minutes after the break.
