Tomasz Mazur was Mid Oxon’s hero with a first-half brace to sink Oldham 2-0 in the ESFA Under 15 Trophy quarter-final at Chipping Norton FC.
The battling victory in a fiesty encounter – which saw eight players booked with the majority from the visitors – took Mid Oxon into the last four, equalling their previous best performance in the competition.
Now they can look forward to a home tie against East Northumberland or holders Liverpool, who meet at Ashington FC on March 5.
South London are at home to Dacorum, from Herts, in the other semi-final.
Mid Oxon keeper Owen Churchill made a superb save in the second half against Oldham, with Dom Hyam starring in defence.
