Dan Taylor scored a hat-trick as Freeland edged to a 6-4 win against Bletchingdon in a ten-goal Premier Division thriller.

Freeland looked home and dry after a Dan Taylor double and a Pete Higgins strike saw them storm into a 3-0 lead.

However, goals from Adam Wells, Ryan Curtin, Todd Parker-Hunt and Richard Wells gave Bletchingdon a 4-3 advantage.

John Crump levelled with a penalty, before Taylor completed his treble – his second in two weeks – with a drilled shot from 18 yards.Paul Salter sealed it with Freeland’s sixth.

Second-placed Garsington closed the gap on leaders Hinksey to nine points with a 4-2 win at Enstone.

Garsington, who have two games in hand on Hinksey who did not play on Saturday, went ahead when Jamie McMahon slotted in, only for James Watkins to equalise.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, Jelroy Constant netted his first goal, before making it 3-1 with his second strike.

Although Jack Mahoney clawed one back for Enstone, Alex Fasotanti sealed it with Garsington’s fourth late on.

Guy Andrews equalised for Adderbury Park in a 2-2 draw with Mansfield Road.

Gary Crook gave Adderbury the lead, only for Dan Trinder to level and Cameron Knight giving Mansfield a 2-1 lead.

Andrews then salvaged a point after the break.

Stonesfield recorded their first win since the opening day with a 2-1 success against Oxford University Press.

Gary MacEachan got Stonesfield off to a flier, but just before half-time Neil Lockhart levelled with a penalty after Mike Phipps handled.

Higgs then smashed in the winner from 20 yards from Dan Sherbourne’s lay-off.

Eynsham finally got off the mark with a 3-1 victory at Horspath, with goals from Craig Freeman (2) and Adam Woolford.

John Hudson saved a point for Marston Saints in a 2-2 draw at Kennington.

The hosts led through Stuart Wheeler, but Tom Payne headed the leveller.

Jamie Cattell restored Kennington’s lead with a header, only for Hudson to equalise with a superb left-foot shot.
