Banbury United and Brackley Town had to be content with a point each from a goalless draw in the Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division at Spencer Stadium last night.

Brackley’s Chris Willmott headed over the best first-half chance, while Declan Benjamin twice went close for the home side after the break.

Brackley’s former Oxford United keeper Billy Turley was carried off with an ankle injury after saving from Benjamin on 73 minutes, and although outfielder Elliott Sandy went in goal, Banbury could not find a way past him.
