TONY Payne has driven in as Frilford Heath’s new men’s captain.
Payne, who has been a member for 18 years, works for Oxford City Council’s environmental health department.
The seven-handicapper, who lives in Brize Norton, joined the club from Oxford City in 1993.
He is married to Christine and has two children, Louise and Jonathan.
His chosen charity for the year is the Oxford group of the Haemophilia Society.
