Oxford City Stars are hoping Andrew Sturmer will recover from illness in time for tomorrow’s home clash with English National League South Division 1 leaders Wightlink Raiders.
Stars will be aiming to build on last weekend’s 3-0 victory against Bristol Pitbulls, though Raiders who have lost only three times so far this season.
Oxford’s recent record against the visitors is decent though, having enjoyed a win and a draw in the sides’ last two meetings.
Raiders only recently drop-ped from the league above and are still able to attract players with experience of playing at a higher level.
