City of Oxford ace Alex Chung won his first gold of the season with a personal best of 38.08 seconds in the 50m breaststroke at the level two meeting in Aylesbury.

Chung, 13, a Wheatley Park student, was one of 300 swimmers taking part in the event.

Clubmates Josh Harrop, 15, won the 200m backstroke in 2.18.98, and Robert Youngs do Patrocinio, 10, took gold in the 200m breaststroke (3.20.72).

In the girls, 10 -year -old Maia Little landed triple golds in 400m freestyle (6.01.12), and the 100m (1.36.18) and 200m (3.20.29) breaststroke.

Sarah Gould,14, won the 100m (1.07.30) and 200m (2.24.90) backstroke. Alissa Clarke lifted the 50m breaststroke crown in the 10-year-old section in 46.26 with Emily Wood taking the 11-year-old race in 41.23 secs.

Underwood, 10, won the 50m butterfly, plus the 50m and 200m breaststroke, while Motha’s wins were in the 50m butterfly, and the 50m and 100m backstroke events.

Abingdon Vale’s Niall O’Leary and Olivia Law won three golds.
