Littlemore piker Tony Hallett (above) last appeared in these pages in November with a pike of 22.3.0, and this week he’s back again with an even bigger fish weighing 25.7.0 from the same pit.
He spent a seven-hour session on the water and this was the only fish he landed.
It took the float-fished tail-end of half a herring which he had soaked in predator attractor.
l THE Environment Agency fisheries team have been busy improving habitat and stocking several local waters over the last few weeks.
Chub, barbel, dace, roach and bream have been stocked into the Cherwell, Evenlode and Thame and bank work has been carried out on the Cherwell at Islip.
