Paul Jégou, of White Horse Harriers, has won the Wessex Cross Country League senior men’s title for a third time in a row.
He clinched the crown when winning the latest round on a testing course at Yeovil in Somerset – his second successive victory.
Jégou led from the start to finish in 37mins 23secs.
Clubmate John Peake was the third V40 runner home, in 42.37. He was tenth overall.
SARAH Matthews, of Abingdon Amblers, won the women’s race in the 5km Park run in Reading.
Clubmate Patricia Wilson was first in the LV50 category.
