Oxford University are teaming up with Sainsbury’s to raise funds for Comic Relief at next Wednesday’s home game against the Royal Navy.
The match at Iffley Road will feature bucket collections, sampling sessions and promotional t-shirts.
Sainsbury’s Stephen Jenkins said: “We are also selling a team photo of the squad in socks, shorts, no tops and red noses.
“There is a raffle where we’re giving away signed books (Gok Wan, Jamie Oliver), a signed Wigan rugby league shirt, a signed OURFC shirt and various hampers.”
- OXFORD University are running their junior rugby academy again this term, with the first of eight sessions taking place on Thursday, February 3.
Former Dark Blues coach Lynn Evans heads up the academy, for players in school years four to ten, alongside members of the current Blues squad.
