Seven Oxfordshire players will have an eye on England call-ups when they represent the South West in the RFU Divisional Under 18 Festival.
The festival, featuring teams from the four RFU regions, takes place at Broadstreet RFC from February 18-20, and is the basis for England under 18 squad selection.
Oxon’s seven are Ali Johnston (Oratory School and Henley), Henry Purdy (Cokethorpe School and Chipping Norton), David Massey (Henley College), Rory Paxton (Henley College), Jake Wilson (Cokethorpe School), Nick Taylor (KES, Stratford and Shipston on Stour) and James Dobree-Carey (Shiplake College and Henley).
The South West, who include Chipping Norton’s Andy Dawson among their coaches, face the London and South East Division in a friendly on Sunday.
