Head coach Grant Holmes was not downhearted, despite Banbury’s heavy defeat to Dudley Kingswinford.
He said: “A lot of things we did well today, we did too far out.
“We want to be doing them in their 22.
“I can’t fault the attitude of the guys and their commitment against a very accomplished side.
“We knew that today was going to be tough, even with a full-strength side, which we didn’t have.
“We can still take few positives from the game.
“They are unbeaten, so they are obviously very strong and were also very well drilled.
“When we had the ball we were never dynamic, but we made some yards through the middle.
“Unfortunately, we weren’t able to keep the ball and they countered very quickly.
“The job is to make sure we retain the ball better.”
