Spartan Rangers reached the semi-finals of the Witney & District FA's Fred Ford Cup as they saw off Hanborough 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw.

Matt Townsend bagged a brace before he hit the winning penalty. James Clarke got their other scorer, with Tom Lewis (2) and Liam Harris replying for Hanborough.

Steve Hunt and George Slatter netted for Chad Park in a 2-1 win over Wychwood Forest, Mike Duerden replying.

AC Finstock came from a goal down to beat Witney Royals 2-1 in the Premier Division.

Jack Kennedy gave the hosts the lead, but goals from Ryan Bowers and Brendan Kearns earned Finstock the points.

Nick Dawood hit a treble as West Witney went second with a 7-1 demolition of Hanborough Res in Division 1.

Gary Thomas, Mark Haydon, Jamie McDonough and Tony McLeman scored the others, with Josh Townsend replying.

In Division 2, Mark Dellar (3) and Carl Siford hit a hat-trick in Charlbury Town Res’s 4-1 win over Spartan Rangers Res. John Clarke replied.

Witney Royals A lost 3-2 to a last-minute penalty against leaders West Witney Res in Division 3.

Jack Simpson scored twice to put West Witney 2-0 up, before Loyd Edwards and Russell Plumb levelled and Darren Aston got the winner.
