Bardwell restored their lead when Blossom chipped the keeper.

Abba Athletic stormed into the second round of the Eric Morris Cup with a 4-1 comeback win at Souldern.

Jason Harvey slotted home Souldern’s opener, only for Abba to equalise when Jonathon Drew scored from the penalty spot.

Michael Lewis gave Abba a first-half lead with a fierce drive from outside the box.

Abba took control in the second half, with strikes from David White and Barry McConnel wrapping up victory.

A double from Joe Haynes saw Heyford Athletic Res to a 4-3 win against Deddington Town Res in the second round of the Geoff Wilson Cup.

Haynes bagged No 4 to complete his brace, and although Kaye hit his second – this time from the penalty spot – it was too late.
