Mangotsfield 3 (Knighton 3, Groves 4, Clark 9)
North Leigh 3 (Burnell 7, Taylor 8, 10)
North Leigh had to be satisfied with a share of the spoils as they in a six-goal thriller as they extended their unbeaten run to five matches.
All the goals came in an incredible opening ten minutes, with Matty Taylor grabbing a double to follow last week’s five-timer.
Adam Lonsdale parried Karim Rendall’s strike, but Tom Knighton slotted in for the hosts to start the goal frenzy.
And the visitors were stunned as Mangotsfield doubled their lead when Matt Groves beat Lonsdale.
But two goals in two minutes saw North Leigh level.
Joe Burnell shot home through a crowded area, before Taylor smashed the ball into the far corner past Danny Greaves.
Ollie Clarke restored the hosts lead from 20 yards, but the goal spree continued when Taylor volleyed an angled shot past Greaves to make it 3-3.
North Leigh ended the half strongly with Taylor firing wide after being set up by Andy McCabe.
Both teams tightened up after the break.
Three minutes from time, North Leigh almost snatched a win when Taylor cut inside, only to see his shot tipped over the bar by Greaves.
