England cricket captain Andrew Strauss took time out from his final practice session before the third Test to meet the touring Oxfordshire Under 19 squad at the WACA in Perth yesterday.
Former Oxfordshire batsman Strauss, who endorsed Oxon’s tour, signed autographs and answered questions from the youngsters.
He said: “I started my career in Oxfordshire and have many happy memories.”
England lead the series 1-0.
