AFC Hinksey went goal crazy to thrash Oxford University Press 9-0 and go top of the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division, writes BRIAN KIRK.

Triston Lawrence set hosts Hinksey on the way with Toby Webster, Liam Gurdev, Jerome McCalmon, who was celebrating the birth of his son, Sean Flaherty and Marlon James making it 6-0 at half-time.

Martino Ventriglia, celebrating his birthday, followed up to score from the rebound after his penalty was saved in the second half, and Flaherty grabbed his second, before substitute Gavin Preston completed the rout.

Bletchingdon lost top spot after being held to a 5-5 draw at home to Mansfield Road.

Ryan Curtin and Rocky Whiting gave Bletchingdon an early two-goal lead.

Dan Trinder pulled one back with a 30-yard drive, but Curtin struck twice more to complete his hat-trick and make it 4-1 at half-time.

Mansfield Road rallied after the break with Luis McGillycuddy’s double and Cameron Knight making it 4-4.

Luke Holden fired Bletchingdon back in front, but Adam Healey equalised in the last minute.

North Leigh centre back Stuart Hole set Freeland on the way to a 6-3 home win over Horspath with a cracking 30-yard strike.

Nathan Blackwell drilled home a shot from the edge of the box to double Freeland’s advantage before the break.

John Crump netted his first goal for the club, Dan Taylor headed in No 4 and Ben Glastonbury also got on the scoresheet as Freeland stretched away in the second half.

Horspath hit back through Simon Evans and a Simon Burton brace, before Pete Higgins sealed Freeland’s victory.

Eynsham are still pointless after losing 3-2 at home to Marston Saints.

Goals from Tom Payne and Matt Holton put Marston in charge, and they should have been further ahead by half-time, but Paul Woolford saved Payne’s penalty.

Andy Glossop pulled one back in the second half only for Kyle Perry to restore Mars-ton’s two-goal cushion.

Jack Rossiter netted Eynsham’s second to ensure a tense finish.

James Harri hit a hat-trick in Enstone’s 4-0 win at Kennington. James Watkins completed Enstone’s tally.

Jimmy Bowerman’s hat-trick gave Kidlington Old Boys a 3-1 win at home to lowly Long Crendon in Division 1.

Barney Gordon gave Crendon a shock lead.

But Bowerman equalised, before running on to Danny Jones’s through ball to put Kidlington ahead.

Bowerman then won a penalty when he was brought down in the area, and after treatment, he drilled home the spot-kick to complete his hat-trick.

Leaders Slade Farm United were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Oxford Irish in their top-of-the-table battle.

Lee Clack finished well to give Slade the lead, but Thomas Gaughan’s superb strike from 20 yards earned Irish a deserved point.

Gareth Bridges scored his first goal for Watlington in a 1-1 draw at home to Middleton Cheney.

Bridges’s strike gave Wat-lington the lead, but Perry Hawkins made it all-square at the break.

Middleton had the chance to win the game after the break when they were awarded a penalty, but the spot-kick hit a post.

Adam Mercer’s brace gave Slade Farm United Res a 2-2 draw at home to Division 2 leaders Bletchingdon Res.

Mercer gave the hosts the lead, before Ian Roberts thumped in an equaliser.

A second strike from Mercer restored Slade’s advantage, but Nick East’s header brought Bletchingdon a point.

Enstone Res on the way to a 6-3 home win over Charlton United Res.

Paul Canning (2) and Tom Adams netted inside the first ten minutes only for Charlton to respond through Ben Hookham and Tom Sullivan.

Hookham’s second was then sandwiched between a Matt Barnes goal and a Chris Mullard penalty as Enstone ended the first half 5-3 ahead.

David Bulgarelli scored the only goal after the break to seal Enstone’s win.

Phil Weller hit a hat-trick in Oakley Res’s 4-1 win at Garsington Res.

Andrew Park also netted for Oakley, with Rhys Veal replying.

Ryan Hunt’s brace gave Stonesfield Res a 2-1 win at basement boys Yarnton Res.

Owen Bunce netted for Yarnton.

A Joey Beauchamp strike couldn’t save Kidlington Old Boys Res from a 3-1 defeat at Horspath Res.

Richard Hoffan’s low drive and a Ben Beresford penalty gave Horspath a two-goal half-time lead.

Former Oxford United star Beauchamp pulled one back after the break, but James Beasley’s fine finish sealed Kidlington’s fate.
