Chinnor suffered late heartbreak in an 18-16 defeat at Exmouth.
The visitors led 16-13 with six minutes to go before wing Matt Ryan scored the try and sent Chinnor home with just a losing bonus point.
Exmouth took the lead with a 15th-minute penalty from fly half Andrew Powell, just after Chinnor full back Richard Williams had been sin-binned.
The hosts were 10-0 up on the half hour mark when Powell converted a try from centre Adam Garner.
Chinnor fly half James Cathcart soon reduced the deficit with a penalty before Exm-outh flanker Dave Bargent was yellow-carded.
The visitors made their extra man count, with scrum half Toby Prescott scoring a try and Cathcart converting.
Exmouth No 8 Dave Kimberley was sin-binned after 46 minutes and two Cathcart penalties made it 16-10 by the hour mark.
But a second Powell penalty gave Exmouth hope.
Chinnor’s three defeats have all come on the road, but their 100 per cent home record could be under threat on Saturday against leaders Hartpury College.
Oxford Harlequins’ home game with Barnstaple was frozen off, with the sides hoping to try again on February 12 or 13.
