Dusan Gavrilovic has it all to do if he is to qualify for the European Senior Tour.

The Studley Wood professional lies joint 25th going into today’s final round of the tour’s qualifying school in Lagoa, Portugal.

Gavrilovic needs to finish in the top 14 to make the tour, but is four shots off that mark.

Things looked good for the former leading amateur when he ended day two tied 11th on one-under-par.

But Gavrilovic then carded a six-over-par 77 in yesterday’s third round at Pestana Carvoeiro’s Pinta Course.

Although he played the back nine in level par, the damage was done on the first nine holes.

Gavrilovic shot a quadruple-bogey eight on the fourth hole and then bogeyed the fifth and ninth.

The Studley Wood man will need to recapture his earlier form when he tees off today.

In round two, he eagled the 512-yard par five 12th hole.

Gavrilovic reached final qualifying after finishing joint ninth in last week’s stage one on Pestana’s Gramacho course.

Here he shot rounds of 71 and 72 for a one-under-par total of 143.

Gavrilovic is in his second spell at Studely Wood, having worked at Magnolia Park in between.
