Former OUP trio Chick Jones, Paul Weller and Ken Lewis came back to haunt their former side as Kidlington Res hit back from 2-0 down to beat OUP Res 3-2 in Division 2 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.

Sam Bougien and Nolan Asleford put the visitors in control, but Jones, Weller and Lewis hit a goal apiece to seal a superb fightback.

The game was marred, however, by a nasty facial injury suffered by OUP’s Grant Geartner which needed hospital treatment.

Broughton & North Newington twice fought back to salvage a 4-4 draw with Eynsham Res.

A free-kick from Dave Harris and a disputed Dan Brooks’ penalty saw Eynsham take a 2-0 lead.

Although James Tillcock reduced the deficit, James Reeves made it 3-1 shortly after the break.

But goals from Andrew Lester and Gareth Furey - a superb 25-yard effort – restored parity.

Andrew Glossop made it 4-3 to Eynsham , but Wayne Barton grabbed a last-minute equaliser.

Arron Howlett hit a treble to seal a 3-3 draw for Bletchington Res at home to Garsington Res.

Trailing to goals from Sam Smith (2) and Rhys Veal, Howlett’s treble saw Bletchingdon snatch a point.

Thomas Scoggs and Thomas Miller hit doubles for Freeland Res in their 6-1 comeback win at Yarnton Res.

Ben Fouracre gave Yarnton the lead, but Scoggs and Miller completed their braces before strikes from Andy James and Nathan Blackwell compounded Yarnton’s misery.
