Oxford City Stars will be without the crocked Andrew Shurmer when they host Milton Keynes Thunder in South Division 1 of the English National League at Oxpens Road tomorrow.
Shurmer is still nursing a knee injury, which has kept him out of action for some time.
Milton Keynes Thunder have a number of players that have formerly been with Stars.
These include last year’s coach’s player of the season Paul Gore and former fans favourite Mike Lucas.
Stars expect to name an unchanged team from the one that beat Swindon Wildcats last weekend as they look for another victory which will keep them near the top of the table.
While Stars have performed well this season, and currently sit second in the table, Thunder have surprisingly struggled, and are third from bottom.
But previous meetings between the two sides have been close, so tomorrow’s game is likely to be a tight affair.
Meanwhile, Oxford City Stars’ second string take on the Streatham Bruins at Oxpens Road this evening in South Division 2.
Face-off for this match is 5pm.
