Team South Africa took the honours at the 12th FIPSed World Carp Champs held at Linear Fisheries, in Oxfordshire.
The result was in the balance until the last 45 minutes of the match, when South Africa took overall gold after landing this 22lb mirror carp.
They snatched the gold from Greece, with England dropping from the bronze medal position to fourth place.
