An excellent spell of fast bowling against his old club by Lee Mason was all in vain for Bicester & North Oxford in Division 2 West at Beaconsfield on Saturday.
The home side won the toss and elected to bat, reaching 105-4 at lunch before torrential rain washed out the game.
Mason bowled another excellent opening spell, claiming the first four wickets as Beaconsfield slipped to 40-4 from the first 15 overs.
Krish Talsania and Rupert Rowling also bowled tidy spells before the rain came.
