For the second time this season, rain intervened between Kidlington and Wokingham but not before Tauqeer Hussain had provided some fireworks in the Home Counties League Division 2 West game at Wellington Road on Saturday.
The Pakistani strike bowler snapped up the first four wickets to fall after Kidlington had inserted their hosts.
Tauqeer is beginning to look back to his best after his early season problems with injury and 4-42 from nine hostile overs was a handsome reward as all the Wokingham top order looking vulnerable.
Wokingham had reached 80-4 when the heavens opened.
With 11 games of the season now gone, both these sides look like fighting for the mid-table places, which for Kidlington will be a worthwhile return in their first Home Counties season.
