A hailstorm which made the ground look more like a snowscene in winter brought a dramatic end to Saturday's Home Counties Premier League Division 1 derby between Banbury and Henley at White Post Road.
Henley won the toss and put the home side in on a humid morning, Chris Smith and Benji Hector (pictured) putting on 38 for the first wicket before the captain fell for 13.
Smith went on to make 37 off 47 balls with seven fours.
Craig Haupt and Danny Harding went cheaply, but Ian Hawtin was going well on 21 not out when the heavens opened.
As well as the rain and hail, such was the force of the wind that a mini tornado lifted one section of a sightscreen on top of another at one end of the ground.
