Christoph Bart ran in a hat-trick of tries as Henley Hawks hammered struggling Hinckley 56-22 in National 2 South.

Full back James Comben put Hawks ahead with a penalty, then centre Ali James created wing Bart’s first try on eight minutes.

Bart had a second try ruled out for a fumble. Hinckley hit back when wing Sam Greasley chased a kick to touch down.

Henley raised their game with No 8 Matt Payne forcing his way over and Bart sprinting in for No 3.

Hinckley prop David Peck was sin-binned before the alert Payne tapped and went over for his second try, converted by Comben.

Back came the visitors, with fly half Guy Swadling scoring twice and converting the first to make it 25-17 at the break.

Replacement scrum half James Gaunt bagged Henley’s next try, with Comben converting.

Hinckley gained a bonus point when Greasley scrambled over for his second after Payne had been sin-binned.

Henley cut loose after Swadling’s yellow card, with wing Jack Shaylor and centre Danny Wells scoring, Wells converting the former.

Replacement lock Tom Stradwick powered in for Wells to convert before Payne set up Bart’s third.
