Head coach Grant Holmes was not satisfied with Banbury’s 38-22 victory against Leamington.

Holmes said: “I am relieved to get a win and the bonus point, which was our first objective.

“The second was our style of play, which is what we need to worry about. It was very inconsistent.

“I don’t know whether we started off and thought it was going to be an easy day.

“Unfortunately you can’t afford to rest on your laurels in this league.

“The majority of the last 60 minutes was very average.

“I am pleased with the win, but we are better than we showed.”
