Netminder Sabina Lossnitzer has been selected for the England Under 13 team to play in Canada next year.
The 12-year-old, from Headington, will compete in a two-week tournament in Quebec in February.
After attending a residential school of excellence, Lossnitzer was also chosen as a reserve for England Under 14sā trip to Windsor, Canada over the new year.
Lossnitzer, who has also represented Great Britain at roller hockey, trains for two to three hours a day and plays up to four matches a weekend.
She does her fitness training with Paul Saxton at OXRad in Marston.
