OCA League Divisions 4-11

DUNCAN Macdonald was at it again with his third century of the season as Kilkenny thrashed Stonesfield 2nd by 142 runs in Division 7.

Macdonald scored 150 not out as Kilkenny posted 272-8.

Chris May (5-28) and Dwayne Knipe (4-28) then combined to roll Stonesfield over for just 130.

Chadlington were knocked off the top of Division 4 as they fell to their first defeat against Brill.

The home side posted 155 all out, despite Martin Shepherd taking 6-49.

But Chadlington were skittled out for only 71 as Darren Kavanagh took 5-22.

Dean Clark’s unbeaten century was in vain as Oxford Rescue lost by five wickets to Wootton & Boars Hill.

Clark hit 115 not out in Rescue’s 205-7, but 58 from Michael Reeve and 56 not out frmo Damien Wiskin saw Wootton to 207-5.

Ed Clark took 6-42 as Radley defeated Hailey by five wickets.

Hailey were dismissed for 164, then George Fox-Edwards hit 75 as Radley reached 165-5.

Division 5 leaders Kennington fell to their first defeat as they were beaten by Cairns Fudge.

Jamie Clark (4-15) and Chan Tamang (4-33) combined as Kennington were bowled out for 129, then Fudge reached 132-3, Martin Hanscombe top-scoring with 42.

Dean Warner-Carter took 5-12 to help Chipping Norton to a ten-wicket win at Uffington, who were shot out for 87.

Ben Tew (56no) then saw Chippy to a crushing victory.

Shrivenham 2nd edged out Garsington 2nd by 11 runs in Division 6.

David Winskill (40) helped Shrivenham to 168-8, before Josh Kirk took 4-49 as Garsington were bowled out for 157.

Hamed Abdul’s 92 not out saw Tetsworth 2nd to a six-wicket win at Stanton St John Willows.

Chasing Willows’ total of 190-7, Abdul’s fine knock carried Tetsworth to 191-4.

In Division 8, John Thompson took 6-31 as Risinghurst thrashed Steventon by seven wickets.

Thompson’s haul saw Steventon dismissed for 112, which Risinghurst passed with ease.

Kennington 2nd had a day to forget as they were bundled out for a paltry 22 at Witney Swifts 2nd.

Chris King took 5-7 and Mark Horne 4-2.

Swifts knocked off the small target for the lost of one wicket.

Fourteen-year-old Jacob Hughes hit 94 not out as Minster Lovell 3rd beat Swinbrook 2nd by nine wickets.

Having bowled Swinbrook out for 146, Hughes and Dan Spencer (46no) saw Minster home.

In Division 10, Chesterton 2nd’s Ami Mishra took 5-14 to help his side to a 41-run win at Chipping Norton 2nd.

Great Horwood 3rd were bowled out for only 60 against Risinghurst 2nd – but still managed a ten-run victory in Division 11.

Graham Drummond took 6-21 for Risinghurst, who were then shot out for 50, Bob Ridgway taking 5-16.
