City of Oxford’s Ellie Millington, ten, won the 50m backstroke in a personal best time of 39.31 seconds in the first round of the Milton Keynes Junior League for nine to 12-year-olds at Temple Cowley.
City team struggled against strong opposition and ach-ieved only two other wins for maximum points.
Maia Little won the girls’ ten-year-old 50m breaststroke in a time of 48 seconds and Olivia Webster claimed the 50m freestyle in 34.84 secs.
Result: 1 Hillingdon A 267, 2 Staines 195, 3 Amersham 192, 4 Windsor 130, 5 Hillingdon B 127, 6 Oxford 111.
