A fine all-round display saw Oxfordshire Under 13 girls cruise to a six-wicket win over Isle of Wight in a low-scoring game.
After asking their opponents to bat first, Suzy Halsey and Juliet Gardner struck early to reduce the hosts to 8-2.
With two run-outs not helping their cause, Isle of Wight lost wickets regularly, and were bowled out for 44 after 18 overs – 26 runs coming from extras.
Oxon got off to a dreadful start in reply, but Coral Reeves and opener Harriet Boland steadied the ship as they cruised home.
