IT proved a memorable week for The Green Ox’s Flick Merauld in his side’s Section 11 clash with Eight Bells.
In his fifth game and after 72 sticks so far this season, Merauld at long last managed to knock off his first doll of the season in the opening leg.
Normal service was resumed with blobs in the final two legs as his side suffered a 3-0 defeat – but at least he’s broken his duck!
