Bicester A were too strong for Kingham in the Gladiator Cup mixed competition on their home turf.

They won 6-0 with Chelsea Cochrane scoring four, to make it four wins out of four.

After a scrappy start Bicester took the lead when a powerful strike from the top of the D by Lewis Allen was tipped in on the line by Charlie Humphreys.

Cochrane then got in just the right positions to score twice.

Kingham fought hard in the second half but Bicester grew stronger and put away another three, one from CJ Birtles, and a further two from the irrepressible Cochrane.

Bicester A, who had previously beaten Abingdon 3-1, Great Milton 2-1 and Adastral 4-1, are well clear at the top of Group B.

But it’s much tighter in Group A where Mighty Maximus, Dragon School, Gladiators and Oxford University were all battling for top spot, tied on six points.
