Officials have been stunned by the rate at which Oxford United fans have been snapping up Wembley tickets.
More than 16,000 tickets were sold to Oxford supporters within 25 hours of them going on sale for the Blue Square Premier play-off final at Wembley on Sunday, May 16.
More blocks are being made available from United's allocation of 37,500 for immediate sale.
A statement issued by Oxford United today said: Wembley Stadium, agents Seetickets and the Football Conference have been "surprised an overwhelmed" by the initial demand for tickets from Oxford United supporters for the play-off final.
