Oxford won the Shield after a strong finish in the Reading round of the National Touch Series.
After three narrow defeats in the pool stages of the touch rugby event, Oxford, who are based at Stratfield Brake, bounced back with a win against Allsorts.
They then defeated Thames Valley Vikings 2nd 2-0 in the Shield semis and Striders and Sharks 5-4 in the final, with Tomas Evans scoring a hat-trick of tries.
- OXBRIDGE Under 23s defeated their Combined Services counterparts 50-22 in their inaugural match at Twickenham on Saturday.
