RADLEY emerged victorious from the opening round of the women’s competition in the Western Veterans League at Horspath Road.
They eased to victory by a margin of 25 points ahead of Newbury, with Abingdon Amblers in third place.
In the men’s event, Oxford City took the honours.
In the ladies’ competition, Kay Reynolds led the way in the over 35s 100m, clocking 13.1 secs, while Sarah Davies clocked 1.05.6 to win the 400m in the same age group.
Other notable performances saw Sarah Davies clock 5.22.9 in the 1500m.
In the field, Louise Oliver leapt 4.60m to win the long jump, while Natasha Mightly threw 30.67m in the shot.
The men’s competition saw City in dominant form.
They posted 12 victories across the age groups, with notable displays coming from Andy Ashworth-Jones clocking 55.7 in the over 35s 400m and Phil Huxley crossing the line in 4.58.5 in the over 50s 1500m.
l KIDLINGTON’S Michael Collins won the vet 60 division in the Waynesboro Virginia Park-to-Park Half Marathon in the USA in a time of 1.52.09.
