ABINGDON United have made two significant signings as they prepare for their first season in the Southern League, following their promotion from the Hellenic League Manager Andy Slater has strengthened the side with the capture of Banbury keeper Simon Tricker and Slough Town's Andy Ballard.
Tricker returns to Abingdon after three years playing for the North Oxfordshire club.
Former Oxford City player Ballard, 21, was a regular first team player at Slough all last year and can play in both defence and midfield.
United have re-signed all of last seasons first team players.
