Oxfordshire coach John Brodley says Notts, Lincs and Derbys will have plenty to worry about when the two sides clash at Twickenham on Monday.

And having had such an impressive run to the final, he believes Oxon are in great shape to avenge their defeat to Northumberland at the same stage in 2003.

Brodley said: "We have done well in the group stages and then to win the semi-final 27-10 was a very good result.

"It has put us in a confident frame of mind and I think realistically they can worry about us a little more than we worry about them.

"We've already won promotion into the County Championship Shield, so Monday is going to be all about winning the title on the day.

"I am confident that we have got the best possible team to do that.

"We are just going to go out there, enjoy the occasion and play the best rugby we can, and hopefully we will end our season in style."

Brodley has made two changes to the team that started their semi-final against East Midlands.

Reading centre Alex Wallace replaces Chinnor's Rewi Tolich in the midfield, while Andy Millburn is preferred to his Chinnor colleague Ed Rixon at blindside flanker.

Matt Buckley has also been ommitted from the 22, so Oxford Harlequins scrum half Owen Gustaffson and Chinnor winger Jamie Hiscock come in on the bench.

Brodley said: "I have got a duty to the future of Oxfordshire rugby as well.

"Matt and Rewi won't be around next year, but Jamie and Owen will.

"Jamie has proved himself already with four tries and for a young lad, playing at Twickenham can only help him develop."

Chinnor captain Craig Burrows will skipper a squad, which includes eight players who featured in the 27-8 loss to Northumberland three years ago.

They are Martin Nutt, Andy Noyce, Anthony Cope, Simon Matthews, Bob Harris, Tom Whelan, Andy Millburn and Matt Hutchins.
