Oxford Cheetahs, still looking for their first victory on the road, take on Arena Essex Hammers in the Skybet Elite League at their Purfleet fortress tonight (7.45).
The teams were scheduled to clash at Cowley on Monday, only for that meeting to be washed out.
Both clubs have named unchanged sides with Arena Essex still missing Danish star Henning Bager, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Swedish ace Mikael Max is confident he can return to top form for new club Arena Essex as he gets more meetings under his belt following a serious injury last year.
Max said: "I hope things come together very soon as I need to be riding in England. It's a very different style of riding here to what you need in Sweden and Poland.
"I'm not 100 per cent fit yet, and need meetings to get my fitness back. I've been riding well on the big circuits, so hopefully it will come here, too."
Updated weather reports about the meeting's prospects will be carried on Oxford Cheetahs' official website www.oxford-speedway. com and the official Oxford Speedway clubcall line 0700 3921257.
Cheetahs fans travelling to the meeting are warned that there are major roadworks at the Holmesdale Tunnel in the clockwise direction on the M25 (junction with the A10).
