Kidlington emerged from finals day with two trophies as they lifted both the Oxford Girls League under 12 and under 14 cups at Oxford City's Court Place Farm.

The under 12s saw off Oxford Irish 3-1, while the under 14s triumphed with a 2-0 victory over Oxford City A. In the under 12 final, Kidlington started strongly, and took the lead when captain Nell Boxall raced into the area before firing home a left-foot strike.

Before the break, Kidlington increased their advantage with a fine move.

Hayley Pollard's goal-kick fell to Sammy Mayo, who slotted the ball through to Emma Yapp.

Yapp sent Lauren Allison away down the right, whose precision pass picked out Emily Moore to fire home her 51st goal of the season.

After the break, Jemma Young made it 3-0 when she arrived unmarked to fire home Allison's cross.

However, Irish kept battling, and deservedly reduced the arrears.

In the under 14 final, Kidlington produced an excellent display to see off Oxford City A.

They took the lead when Tiffany Shakespeare picked out Melissa Hawtin with an accurate pass.

Hawtin in turn found Danielle Anderson in space.

Anderson's powerful effort was parried by Gemma White, only for Nicola Bishop to slot home the rebound.

City raised their game at the start of the second half, and Kidlington keeper Katie Cox made a great save from Fran Woolfe.

Kidlington then doubled their lead with a superb goal when Bishop beat three defenders before firing home to secure the cup.

Carterton edged out Kidlington on penalties after a goalless draw in the Under 10 final.

Carterton almost won the game in extra time when a well-struck volley from Lydia Miles was brilliantly saved by the Kidlington keeper, but that was the closest either side went.

In the shoot-out, Jess Dearman fired Carterton in front, then Jade Pitt saved Kidlington's first effort.

Lucy Henshaw and Miles then confidently slotted home their spot-kicks to secure a 3-1 victory.

Carterton's under 16s lost out on penalties to Thame in their cup final.

As in the under 10 match, the game finished goalless, before Thame edged the shoot-out 4-3
