Oxford Cheetahs youngster Eric Andersson will get a taste of the big time when he lines up as one of the reserves in the Swedish Grand Prix at Eskilstuna today.

Before flying out to be at the meeting beside his rising star, Oxford promoter Aaron Lanney said, "I'm sure the experience will be great for his career.

"Let's hope he can get a ride during the meeting, although not at the expense of an injury to any of the scheduled line-up."

Meanwhile, young Czech star Lubos Tomicek has been drawn to ride in the semi-final of the World Under 21 Championship at Leszno in Poland on Sunday, June 11.

Looking ahead to the meeting he said: "This year is my last opportunity to win the title and I'll be going flat out for a rostrum place at Leszno as well as qualifying for the final.

"It's a top class field but, if I ride as well as I know I can, then I can make the final."

Meanwhile, Oxford Cheetahs are in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday when they take on Arena Essex at the Stadium. The return will be in Essex next Wednesday.
