Adam White says Oxford Cavaliers' confidence is soaring ahead of tomorrow's trip to Burntwood Barbarians in the TRL Conference West Midlands Division.

And the stand-off should know what he is talking about after starring for Chinnor's title-winning second team in the 15-man game.

White said: "This year the whole team is really switched on, and that has made a great difference.

"We travel to Burntwood full of confidence and eager to work hard for each other.

"The strong form of the Cavaliers is going to get us noticed and I welcome that."

White made his Cavaliers debut at 16 and has already played for Engalnd amateur side, the Lionhearts.

He is the side's top scorer this season with 38 points and Oxford will be looking for him to fire again tomorrow.

Burntwood defeated Coventry Bears A 48-22 in their first game, so it should face a tough clash.

Full back Greg Cushing looks set to play despite leaving the field during last week's victory over Redditch with concussion.

Oxford Cavaliers (v Burntwood Barbarians, away): from Cushing, Tapping, S Conway, Rees, Kenny, White, Kent, Parlett, Elliott, Carter, Madley, Brocklebank, Lester, King, Smallman, Leat, Baiden, Shaw, Blackstone, Allison, Fisher.
