Woodstock won a final-rubber thriller to beat Witney 5-4 in Men's Division 1.
Despite leading 4-2 going into the final round of matches, Woodstock looked in danger of suffering a shock defeat.
Wins for Dave Hilliard and Pete Kemp made it 4-3, and when Graham Ross and Dave Webb won a three-set battle to level the scores, an upset looked on the cards.
But Woodstock's second pair of Pramod Gujral and Chris Rolfe held their nerve to beat Andy Dennis and Bruce Jobson 6-3, 6-7, 6-1 to see their side home.
